Prachovske rocks, Bohemian Paradise, Czech republic 

Prachovske skály (=rocks) are the most famous rock town in Czech republic. It was born as a sandstone sediment of a prehistoric ocean some 100 Milion years ago. It was formed by the water, wind, frost, rain and it created numerous rock towers which were in 1933 certified as a nature park reservation. It is situated ca. 100 km northeast from Prague near the town of Jičín. 

The view is from the viewpoint Vyhlídka Českého ráje (=Bohemian Paradise) towards the main valley of the area. « J’ai passé 4 nuits avec ma fille de 5 ans dans cet hôtel et je trouve que les 4 étoiles ne sont pas méritées. Le service client est vraiment limite: nous avons du réclamer la carte pour le casier à ski, du papier toilette… Le personnel à la réception et en salle a un anglais très basique et n’est pas très aimable. La chambre n’était pas très propre: enveloppe de bonbons sous le lit, table de chevet avec des taches… Concernant la restauration et le bar, beaucoup de choix mais qualité pas à la...

« Der Wellnessbereich muss vor Nutzung reserviert werden und separat gezahlt, der angepriesene Whirlpool löst nochmal zusätzliche Gebühren aus. Das Abendessen besteht fast ausschließlich aus fleischhaltigen Gerichten, so dass es für Vegetarier nicht zu empfehlen ist. Der Balkon an den Zimmern ist ca. 1qm groß, so dass man sich nicht zu zweit aufhalten kann. Wenn man ein Dreibett-Zimmer bucht, wird für die 3\. erwachsene Person ein Kinderbett 90x180cm hinzugestellt, das war’s (nur 2 Gläser, Kaffee...

« Schönes Hotel mit Wellnessbereich in einem separaten Gebäude. Sehr freundliches Personal. Unser Familienzimmer war leider zur Vorderseite ausgerichtet. Schöner Ausblick, aber aufgrund der Bar gegenüber leider etwas laut bis spät in die Nacht. Das soll den Eindruck aber nicht trüben, uns hat der Aufenthalt sehr gut gefallen. Im Winter sollte man Schneeketten dabei haben, da das Hotel an einem doch recht steilem Berg liegt. »

"Hôtel de l'ère soviétique rénové à minima. Chambre exiguë sans climatisation, sans ventilateur (caution obligatoire), sans bouteille d'eau (malgré la canicule), sans réfrigérateur, sans sèche-cheveux. Fenêtre de la chambre jamais nettoyée à l'ouverture problématique. Salle de bain super étroite. Impossibilité de se garer devant la réception sauf à utiliser l'immense parking payant (tarifs élevés). "
